After qualifying as a solicitor in the City of London, Nigel worked there as an Investment Banker for a decade with Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette. In 1999 he joined HIT Entertainment PLC, a FTSE 250 media group where he was the Main Board director responsible for M&A, IR, PR, Corporate Development, Guinness World Records and FUN Radio. Following HIT’s sale to Apax Partners Nigel joined PartyGaming PLC (later bwin.party) in December 2005 as Group Director responsible for M&A, Corporate Development and Investments and left there in July 2013. Nigel is currently Chairman of SRICL and Managing Director of Lottoland Holdings a fast growing Gibraltar based online gaming business.
Chris joined Southern Rock in June 2006 and moved to the role of Underwriting Director in February 2012. He subsequently became the Managing Director in November 2013. Prior to this he spent seven years at Provident Insurance, joining on the graduate program before moving on to various positions within the claims, credit control and business development departments. Chris has a Bsc Hons in Geography and is a Chartered Insurer (ACII).
Trudy joined the Insurance Industry from a background of management within the service sector in 2000. Working for Hastings Direct and then Advantage Insurance, Trudy gained experience from a variety of differing roles . Qualifying as a Chartered Insurer coincided with her move to Southern Rock in January 2008. Over the past few years Trudy has used her core strengths in technical underwriting and pricing along with market analysis to contribute to many areas of the business. Trudy obtained a First Class Honors Degree in Financial Service Management in the intervening period and is the Product and Compliance Director.
John is a solicitor qualified in both England and Wales and Hong Kong. He worked in private practice with Lovells, in both England and Hong Kong and as an in house counsel for Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong. John joined Group Direct Limited, later part of Brightside Group PLC as Group Legal Counsel in 2006, where he assisted with the flotation of Brightside and has also done considerable amounts of legal work for SRICL, before leaving Brightside to join SRICL and the Rock Group in 2013. John is also a Director and Shareholder of NewLaw Legal Limited, a personal injury law with offices in England, Scotland and Wales.
